CORPORACIÓN PROSPERAR DE COLOMBIA “CORPROSPERAR” has participated in the following events, among others:
The “Living in a Community Game” (where homeless people participate in micro-soccer sport tournaments. In these events, conditions include the absence of curse words and the observation of rules. These tournaments have demonstrated the high sense of solidarity among these homeless people living on the streets of the city of Bucaramanga). The organizing institution was the Luz en la Oscuridad (Light in the Darkness) Foundation. Our Organization acted as the an accompanying partner and as a collateral to ensure good results of this process.
Participation in the Recreation Day for the Elderly. Socialization and visits of senior citizens to the Gabriel Turbay Library, La Flora Park, the Recrear Park at Las Americas neighborhood (event organized by the Secretary for Social Development of the Municipality of Bucaramanga).
The Children Day on October 29th, 2006. This event was attended by 219 minors between 3 and 10 years old, conducted at the institution belonging to the Pink Ladies Charity Organization.
The “Jugueteando” (“Playing”) Event conducted at the Somascus Order venue for 2 weeks.
Social events for children and nursing mothers at the following health institutions: the Northern Hospital of Bucaramanga, Hospital at the municipality of Floridablanca, and the Santander University Hospital ().
Granting of five hundred (500) scholarships for school students at the Comuna II of the municipality of Bucaramanga. Recipients of these scholarships are currently studying in the following schools: Maria Auxiliadora, Siglo XXI, The Adelina Cardenas Foundation, and Perpetuo Socorro.
Social events to give presents to ill patients at the following hospitals: the Northern Hospital of Bucaramanga, Hospital at the municipality of Floridablanca, and the Santander University Hospital.
We are registered in the SOCIAL ACTION program of the Presidency of the Republic of Colombia.
